• Unless a missed appointment is paid for in full, we regret that no further appointments will be issued to any customer failing to notify the Salon at least 24 hours prior to any appointment cancellation.
• We use a stringent booking system and unless proven otherwise, Hounds International Grooming Salons will accept no liability for appointment errors. Please ask for an appointment card during appointment bookings. We are happy to confirm in writing any appointments made.

As we do not collect personal information of living human beings we are not bound by the policies and statements of the Data Protection Act. However we will not divulge, sell, or share any data collected from you unless expressly requested by a legal document.

TERMS OF BUSINESS

• Bookings will not be accepted without a valid current contact number.
• Appointment bookings are given on the understanding that your pet will be collected promptly. Unless pre-arranged, a charge of ₤6.00 will be applied for any late pick ups within the first half hour and ₤8.00 per half hour thereafter.
• Unconfirmed appointments will only be kept open for one hour.
• Customers wishing to have their dogs shaved will be asked to sign a consent form.Please do not feed your pet at least two hour prior to your Salon appointment, as they may vomit.
• Although we do not discourage you from staying with your pet during the groom, we must however inform you that in our experience a pet will be more difficult for our groomer to control whilst in the presence of its owner. In this situation we will not be liable for any dissatisfaction you may have with the end cut.
• Grooming prices are dependent on the size, breed and temperament of your pet. A guide price will be offered as part of the appointment booking process. On the initial consultation your pet will be assessed by an experienced groomer for size, breed, temperament and the services you require. Hounds International Grooming Salons reserve the right to increase the grooming charge following the initial consultation.
• We operate a zero tolerance policy and reserve the right to refuse services to and will seek prosecution of those who use violence and aggression towards any member of staff, customers, persons using our facilities and damage to our premises.
• If your dog has fleas it is recommended that you treat your pet prior to your Salon appointment. A charge of ₤15.00 will be applied to your grooming charge if your dog visits the Salon with fleas.
• Please make sure that any tags attached to your pets’ collar are secure. Please also check that these tags are attached when you pick up your dog. We will not accept any liability for missing/lost tags.
• Hounds International Grooming Salons reserve the right to alter the Appointment Cancellation Policy & Terms of Business without notice.
